Resumo: Nessas duas conferências, Jacques-Alain Miller, apoiando-se na experiência analítica, procura responder a questão sobre a existência de afinidade entre as mulheres e os semblantes e por outro lado a aproximação delas ao real. No primeiro caso, pensa o cinismo feminino, exemplificando com a novela Zazie no metrô de Queneau, no segundo caso aponta o real com Medeia, peça de Eurípedes. Propõe uma clínica “feminina” a partir da posição ante o “menos” e nessa orientação define a expressão mulher com postiço, esclarecendo a ambiguidade no conceito de mulher fálica. Por fim, explora, nas duas fórmulas de Lacan sobre a sexuação, o desejo masculino e o feminino assim como o final de análise.

Abstract: In these two conferences, Jacques-Alain Miller considers, from the psychoanalytical point of view, the affinity between women and the semblance, as well as women and the real. For the former pair, he uses Queneau’s novel, Zazie dans le metro, and considers a sort of feminine cynicism; for the latter, he highlights the real with Medea, Euripides play. He also proposes a clinical approach to the feminine in relation to a “loss” in terms of which he calls attention to women that pretend to have a phallus, elucidating the ambiguity of the concept of phallic woman. Finally, he explores the two Lacanian sexuality formulas to show masculine and feminine desire as well as analysis end.
